Step 1: Identify the place you are rounding to, and place a circle around it. Rounding Decimals

Step 3: If underlined digit is greater than or equal to 5, then round the circled number up (add one) 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Rounding Rounding Decimals +1

Step 4: If underlined digit is less than or equal to 4, leave the circled number the same 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Rounding Decimals =

Remember Keep everything before the circle. Everything after the circle becomes zero. If the zeroes come at the end of a decimal, they can be dropped
