2 www.breastcancer.org.nz Breast Cancer in NZ Every year 2,700 women are diagnosed & 620 die NZ has one of the worst survival rates in the developed world Maori are 21% more likely to be diagnosed than non- Maori & 30% less likely to be diagnosed in the early stage New Zealand
