9  You and a partner will get: ◦ Determination of Sex worksheet  Change:  Glabella  Inferior border of ischiopubic ramus Joint surfaces  Inferior pubic ramus Muscle attachment  Wing of ilium  Ventral arc  Acetabulum ◦ A packet of skull pictures

10  Ms. Bloedorn will call up each pair to examine the pelvises to determine the sex of each.

11  With your partner, get ◦ Activity 13-2 ◦ pg. 365-367 (part of Ch 13 packet)  Use the information in the Chapter 13 packet (found on Ms. Bloedorn’s website) to answer the questions on Activity 13-2.  NOTE: Chapter 13 will be up on my website for reference for the rest of the chapter.

12  Write a paragraph conclusion that summarizes what you’ve learned about sex determination, using skulls and pelvis.  Make sure to have a topic sentence, a few supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence.  You may work together with your partner to discuss your findings, but each person should turn in their own conclusion, in their OWN words.
