7 Simile or Metaphor? I feel like a limp dishrag.
Those girls are like two peas in a pod. The fluorescent light was the sun during our test. The bar of soap was a slippery eel during the dog’s bath. Ted was as nervous as a cat with a long tail in a room full of rocking chairs.

8 FAIRY by Serena Her blue eyes as bright as the sky Her shimmering and glittering wings just like gold Her decorated clothes, fine and smooth like silk Her pretty long bronze hair Her lips as red as a primrose Her bag full of fairy dust and good magic Sprinkling everywhere.

9 Excerpt of “Petals” by Amy Lowell
Life is a stream On which we strew Petal by petal the flower of our heart; The end lost in dream, They float past our view, We only watch their glad, early start.

10 I AM A SWORD by Alex I am a sword, Sharper than a tongue Nobody can defeat me, Because I am a sword, I can not be hurt by what people say About me, I will not show my anger Against Someone else.
