Abe Goes Boating By: Abe

Introduction One day there was a young boy named Abe. Out of the blue, he decided that he was going to learn how drive a boat. He went down to the D.A.M.V. (Department of Aquatic Motor Vehicles). The concierge told him that he had the opportunity to choose his teacher. He could either choose Mr. Kerbal or Mrs. Simon. Abe was puzzled as to who he would choose. Can you please choose for him? Mr. Kerbal Mrs. Simon

Mr. Kerbal Abe decided that he would choose Mr. Kerbal because he wanted a man teacher. The concierge told him that he could go through the door on the right to get to the docks. Abe proceeded to do as the concierge had told him and went through the door on the right. As Abe approached the end of the dock he saw a burly old man with a thick mustache and beard. Maybe I shouldn’t have chosen him Abe thought to himself. Mr. Kerbal then asked him whether he wanted to go through the swamp or the lake. Abe was once again stumped, could you help him? Swamp Lake

Mrs. Simon Abe decided that he liked the name Simon so he chose her. The concierge told him that he needed to go through the door to the right to get to the docks. Abe went through the door on the right and proceeded to the docks. When he got there he saw Mrs. Simon ant the end of the dock. When he got there Mrs. Simon greeted him with a smile and asked him whether or not he wanted to go in the river or the lake. Abe was once again puzzled by the choice. Could you choose for him? River Lake

Mr. Kerbal (Lake) Abe made the decision of the lake because he decided he didn’t want to be eaten by Alligators. As he started to drive though, he heard a puffing sound coming from the back of the boat. Mr. Kerbal said it was probably the exhaust pipe. He could either check it now or later. What should he do? Check now Check later

Mr. Kerbal (Swamp) Abe ended up choosing the swamp because he wanted to see Alligators. So he and Mr. Kerbal headed off to the swamp. As they began driving the check engine light popped up. Mr. Kerbal told him that he could either check it now or continue on and risk something happening. What should Abe choose? Check EngineDon’t check engine

Mrs. Simon (River) Abe ended up deciding on the river because he decided it would be much more scenic. Mrs. Simon told him to get in the boat and then they would be off. Abe got in the boat and began to drive down the river. As he began to drive down the river he saw that a storm was up ahead. Mrs. Simon told him that he could turn back and re-schedule or continue forward and try to drive in the storm. What should Abe do? Re-scheduleGo into storm

Mrs. Simon (Lake) Abe ended up deciding on the lake because he believed that it would be much easier to drive there. So they set off to learn how to boat on the lake. For the first part of the journey everything was going fine. But as they began to reach the center of the lake they began to run out of fuel. Mrs. Simon said that he could fill up the tank now, or later. What should he do? Re-fuelDon’t refuel

Mr. Kerbal (check engine) Abe chose to check the engine because he didn’t want to be stranded with Alligators. After everything was fixed Abe proceeded on to finish the test, but barley got his license. Abe decided that he wasn’t fit for boating yet since he barley passed, so he took the test a few more times before he went back out on the water. End

Mr. Kerbal (Don’t check engine) Abe chose not to check the engine because he thought it would be cool to be stranded in the middle of the swamp. Since Abe didn’t check the engine the boat stopped working. Suddenly the Alligators started approaching the boat. Abe has never been seen again. End

Mr. Kerbal (Check now) Abe chose to check the exhaust because he thought it was a test. It turns out it was! Right then and there the teacher passed Abe! Abe was so proud! He began to celebrate that he had finally got his boating license! Abe went home, and celebrated for 8 days. Even his family was proud! End

Mr. Kerbal (Check later) Abe quickly decided not to check the exhaust because he didn’t care. Instantly the teacher failed him and drove him back to the docks. Abe was depressed for a long time. He was never happy again. End

Mrs. Simon (re-schedule) Abe chose to reschedule because he isn’t a risk taker. So he and Mrs. Simon Headed back to the docks so that they could avoid the storm and reschedule the lesson. Once they reached the docks and went to the concierge they learned that the storm was extremely dangerous and that they wouldn’t be on the water for a long time. Abe was safe. End

Mrs. Simon (go into storm) Abe decided that he wanted to keep going through the storm because he liked living dangerously. As they began to enter the storm their boat began to shake around violently and Abe was thrown into the water. Abe ended up drowning while Mrs. Simon was safe. End

Mrs. Simon (Refuel) Abe ended up deciding on refueling because he wanted to be able to continue his boating lesson. Because Abe decided on refueling he ended up passing his lesson with flying colors and became a fully fledged boat driver. End

Mrs. Simon (Don’t refuel) Abe decided that he wouldn’t refuel because he thought he could ace the boat test quickly. So Abe continued to drive. Soon after tough, the boat ran out of fuel. Abe wasn’t sure what to do and he panicked. He panicked for 7 days until the helicopter came to rescue them. Abe decided to never drive a boat again. End
