2 PATTERNS A pattern constitutes a set of numbers or objects in which all the members are related with each other by a specific rule. It is also known as a sequence. There can be finite or infinite number of members in a pattern.

3 GEOMETRIC GROWTH PATTERNS It’s a pattern or design abstract shape such as lines, circles, ellipses, triangles, rectangles and polygons.

4 INCREASING GROWTH PATTERNS Sequence of numbers counting down 2 by 2 or 3 by 3 repeatedly and continue the sequence to find the next 3 terms. Example: Find the next three terms of the following pattern: 81, 79, 77, ___, ___, ___,…
