3. Is it a testable question??? 1. Testable questions ask about objects, organisms, and events in the natural world.  For example: questions involving things like plants, animals, humans, weather patterns etc.

4. Is it a testable question??? 2. Testable questions can be answered through investigations that involve experiments, observations, or surveys.  For example: roller coaster lab, inquiry blocks, school lunch choice.

9. Is it a Testable Question? - Worksheet  Write your NAME and HOUR.  Read and complete PART 1 – prepare to discuss.  Read and complete PART 2 – prepare to discuss.  Next we will begin writing our own testable questions.

10. Can you write a testable question???  Think of something that you are curious about and would like to learn more about. (What do you wonder?!)  Write a TESTABLE question that addresses this curiosity.  It MUST meet ALL 5 of our criteria (see next slide).
