Hydrological Services Wireless Data Collection WDC100

The present system – WLT420 (4-20mA only) 4-20mA Pressure Transducer 1km range Wireless Level Transmitter 12V Battery +- Wireless Level Receiver 4-20mA output 12V Battery +-

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 The Next Generation – Features : Each Transmitter has Tip I/P + 4-20mA I/P + SDI-12 I/P Monitor and log battery voltage of each transmitter Up to 8 Transmitters connected to each Receiver Receiver has LCD and SDI-12 output Configure System via Receiver LCD or via SDI-12 Log many system variables via SDI-12 Up to 1km range (line of sight) Can have 8 systems operating in close proximity on different frequencies Operates in a license free band

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 Transmitter #1 12V Battery 1km range SDI-12 Tip I/P 4-20mA Transmitter #2 12V Battery SDI-12 4-20mA 1km range Receiver 12V Battery SDI-12 output +- SDI-12 Transmitter #3 12V Battery 1km range

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 SDI-12 Sensors #0 #1 #3 Transmitter #1 Receiver :::: Each transmitter can monitor up to 10 x SDI-12 sensors. (*** A total of 10 SDI-12 data sensors can be monitored in a single system) Example: 2 x SDI-12 Sensors on Tx #1 5 x SDI-12 Sensors on Tx #2 3 x SDI-12 Sensors on Tx # 3 SDI-12 Interface SDI-12 Sensors #6 #7 #9 Transmitter #8 :::: NOTE: SDI-12 commands are NOT transferred through to the sensor. Data is collected from the sensors at predefined times, and stored in the receiver. The receiver returns the latest SDI- 12 data. ***The receiver looks like multiple SDI-12 sensors. Example: To collect data from SDI-12 sensor #6 issue the 6M! command – and it will appear as if the data came from that sensor. Must use unique SDI-12 Addresses :::: SDI-12 Capabilities

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 System Advantages : Reduce Public Works cost Running cables – Under roads, across rivers, up hills Reduce installation time Locate the receiver / logger in a convenient location to access the data, manually or via modem Reduce a systems susceptibility to lightning View system data by non qualified personnel via LCD Transmitter can be mounted in a Buoy

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 Actual Installation : TransmitterReceiver

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 1km range Transmitter #1 SDI-12 12V Battery Tip I/P 4-20mA Receiver 12V Battery SDI-12 output +- LoggerGSM Modem Network Visibility Obtaining better network coverage from a hilltop !

Wireless Data Collection WDC100 1km range Transmitter #1 SDI-12 12V Battery Tip I/P 4-20mA Receiver 12V Battery SDI-12 output +- Logger Get your data over obstacles !
