The Reading Dashboard is a convenient place to find the data from STAR Reading Assessments.

Growth and Achievement This can be displayed by individual student performance, class performance, or group performance. Student/Classroom Growth This shows performance of student on Star Assessment or the average of class or group performance on assessments. Comparable Growth This displays how the student or classroom performed against school, district, or national levels. If you have chosen an individual student, it shows how he/she performed with the average of the class as well. Instructional Diagnostics This shows performance of student on Star Assessment or the average of class performance on assessments.

AR Quiz Performance This shows average AR Test performance. Orange is individual practice; while the blue is the instruction average performance from AR 360. AR Points/Minutes Read This shows how many AR points (orange) and total minutes read (black) accumulated throughout the school year and compares it with class and nation. Total % of Nonfiction The orange shows what percentage of AR reading was nonfiction. The blue is the percentage of nonfiction instructional reading with AR 360. ZPD Level This compares the selected group or individual’s Zone of Proximal Development with the levels of reading the group or student has tested on.

Practice Diagnostics Shows group performance in comprehension, Pace to reaching yearly AR Points, nonfiction reading, and reading within ZPD level. Group Sets Green students are achieving at/above Benchmarks Blue students are achieving at or just below Benchmarks Yellow students are achieving below Benchmarks and should be placed in interventions Red students are achieving well below Benchmarks and need immediate and intensive interventions

Practice Diagnostics Individual student performance in comprehension, Pace to reaching yearly AR Points, nonfiction reading, and reading within ZPD level.

Growth Planning or Learning Progression This shows what the student is ready to work on next to progress to succeed at the next level of comprehension. Domains These are the areas that are addressed and the level at which they are ready to be introduced to. These also include the standards that address the skills.

Teachable Order These standards appear in the order suggested to teach students. Skill Details Describes the skill area and the standard that addresses the skill.

Resources Theses are the resources developed, provided, and created for practice in the chosen skill along with the number of resources provided. Type of Resource Various avenues to perfect the chosen skills
