New England Puritan and Pilgrim clothing styles from the 17 th Centrury.

This Puritan male shows how they dressed in the 17 th century. In the 17 th century, people dressed more for comfort and warmth. Essentially, they dressed more conservative than Americans do today.

These pictures portray traditional Puritan/pilgrim outfits. They are dressed for warmth, and they are almost fully covered.

This pair of sweat pants and hoodie show how the average teenage girl dresses for comfort. This outfit keeps the body warm, but is more stylish. This pair of khaki pants and pink polo shirt show how the average preppy teen dresses.

These clothes represent what the average teenage boy wears. This is comfortable, but at the same time it does not really keep the body warm. Also, it is more for style and less conservative.

This portrait shows what a colonial Puritan wedding dress would normally look like. It is very plain and simple and does not have much detail to it.

The picture to the left shows a traditional white wedding dress. It is more extravagant and has beading and pattern detailing to it. The picture to the right shows a pale sea-foam green wedding dress. It is a traditional modern dress with the detailing and style, but the color makes it newer and unique. A classic with a twist, if you will.
