Who is admitted?  D&C 76:50-70  Those who received the testimony of Jesus Christ and were baptized and received the Holy Ghost  Those who are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise  Those of the Church of the Firstborn (Church of Christ)  Those just men made prefect through Christ  Those who come unto Mount Zion  D&C 131:1-4  In order to attain the highest level of the celestial kingdom a man must enter into the new and everlasting covenant of marriage

3. Highest Level of Glory  D&C 76:70, The glory of the Celestial Kingdom is that of the Sun  This shows us that the Glory of the Celestial Kingdom like the sun is brighter and greater than we can possibly imagine.  D&C 76:58  “Wherefore, as it is written, they are gods, even the sons of God—”  Within the Celestial Kingdom we can become as Gods and Goddesses as we have children.  It is only in the Celestial Kingdom that we can be once again with our Heavenly Father

4. “The Race of Life” by President Thomas S. Monson “It is the celestial glory that we seek. It is in the presence of God we desire to dwell. It is a forever family in which we want membership. Such blessings are earned through a lifetime of striving, seeking, repenting, and finally succeeding.”

5. Holy Spirit of Promise  “Families under Covenant” by President Henry B. Eyring  “Melchizedek Priesthood holders who are fathers in sealed families have been taught what they must do. There is nothing that has come or will come into your family as important as the sealing blessings. There is nothing more important than honoring the marriage and family covenants you have made or will make in the temples of God.  The way to do that is clear. The Holy Spirit of Promise, through our obedience and sacrifice, must seal our temple covenants in order to be realized in the world to come. President Harold B. Lee explained what it means to be sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise by quoting Elder Melvin J. Ballard: “We may deceive men but we cannot deceive the Holy Ghost, and our blessings will not be eternal unless they are also sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. The Holy Ghost is one who reads the thoughts and hearts of men, and gives his sealing approval to the blessings pronounced upon their heads. Then it is binding, efficacious, and of full force.””

6. What Does This Mean?  We promised to return to our Heavenly Father in the pre-existence and it is here on this earth that we must persevere to be worthy of attaining the Highest degree of Celestial Glory. It is such a blessing to have our map so simply laid out for us. We know what me must do. We need to live the gospel, Be examples, receive the Spirit of Promise by living worthy of our temple covenants. The Celestial Kingdom is within each of our reaches if we will only make the effort.
