2 Create a tally sheet for scoring and give each player a bell or buzzer. To begin a game, go to the next slide and select “Slide Show” from the “View” menu (or click the slide show icon at the bottom of the PowerPoint window). Randomly choose a player to make the first selection from the board (e.g., “Into Africa for 300.”) Click the number in the selected square. A question will be displayed. Read the question aloud. The first player to ring the bell/buzzer guesses the answer to the question. Click “Show Answer” to reveal the correct answer. If the correct answer is provided, add the player’s score to the tally sheet. Click “Back to Main Screen” to return to the game board. The number in the square selected by the last player is now gray (unavailable). The same player then selects another available square. Closing and re-opening PowerPoint will return all numbers to the original color. NOTE: do not use your keyboard in slide show mode—-use only the on-screen buttons to navigate between slides.
