Why Study Robotics? Robotics is an excellent way to introduce the students to integrated STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Students participating in robotics learn about STEM careers and experience the same activities as professionals solving real-world problems Everyone – girls and boys alike – should get a chance to see how much fun it is learning engineering skills this way!

VISION: To develop a clear understanding of the computational and engineering related issues underlying the perception, planning and control mechanisms for completely autonomous or semi-autonomous operation of integrated systems.

A set of six-axis robots used for welding. USE of Robotics in Various Fields Factory Automation with industrial robots for palletizing food products like bread and toast at a bakery in Germany

USE of Robotics in Various Fields Industrial robot operating in a foundry Medicine (Robotic Hands), Defense (Bomb Squads), Climbing difficult terrains, under sea exploration and more.. Material handling: Picking, packing, and palletizing Material remover: Cutting, Grinding, Polishing Welding, Inspection of equipments (with visual cameras)

The Engineering Design Process (EDP) which is a framework used in nearly all engineering problems is also used in Robotics Design.

Current timings of The Robotics Club After School From 3:10 pm to 4:10 pm 3 days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday Pan American Charter School Robotics Club

Current eligibility for the club Grade 8 th to 12 th Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills Pan American Charter School Robotics Club

Activities of the Robotics Club Pan American Charter School Robotics Club Solve Analytical Problems Learn Computer Science and Electronics Skills Integrating and programming Robots

Curriculum of the Club to promote STEM in School 1. Digital Mathematics 2. Algorithms and Flow Charts; Logic Building 3. Computer Programming in C 4. Electronics Circuits Designing 5. Learning Lego Kits Integration 6. Programming the Robots 7. DTP and Webpage Designing Pan American Charter School Robotics Club

After students have learnt the basics, then what? There are lots of robotics competitions in which kids can participate, such as FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and Botball. Some are local, some statewide, some are regional. The tournaments tend to include multipart, real- world problems and research and occur over specific time periods (for instance, the FLL challenge is released in mid-Sept. each year. Competitions occur from Nov. through Feb.).

Jobs in Robotics: Pan American Charter School Robotics Club Robotics Scientists and Engineers involving design, development and maintenance in every automated industry Robotic Technicians Repair of Robots Handling a complex robot

Infrastructure of the Club Pan American Charter School Robotics Club Spacious Room for Robotics Lab. Computers with Programming Softwares. Electronic Circuits Simulator. Robotics Kits with Robotic programming. Robotic Books for the Club. Publishing and Designing Software.
