NextGen Document Management
What is it? It is an imaging (scanning) program designed to work with your Local Government software to allow you to scan in all your paper produced by either the software of your office.
What is Required? You will need to purchase a scanner in order to scan your paper into Document Management. Document Management (DM) can work with many different types of scanners, but Local Gov recommends a scanner made by Fujitsu.
What does it cost? Ask Marketing.
The home screen. Here you see your folders on the left and documents in those folders on the right side.
You may view each scanned image by double-clicking the document. Here is the image preview screen.
From here you can print your documents.
Some options from the main view: 1. You can attach the document and send it in an email. 2. Create additional folders for filing. 3. Restore deleted docuements from the Trash can.
Other features: Ability to search the words in the document and the fields of the template in one search. Ability to create as many folders as you wish. Attach any image from your computer to a document. Automatically pull in reports from any LG software. Scan from any LG program into DM.
