4 Traditions The Ute Indians have special ceremonies for deaths and other occasions. They wore special clothing and accessories. They called there self's the nuniun that means the people. Another tradition is that they make lots of jewelry and accessories.

5 What did they eat They eat animal meat, fruits, corn and other foods. They could find and eat peppermint leafs. They also hade big longhorn sheep. They hunted wild animals like horses, wolfs, cows, rams and lots of deferent kinds of deer. They eat any thing. To eat they had. They had wood plates and tin cups.

6 Where did they live The Ute's lived from central Utah to western Colorado and from southern Wyoming to northern Mexico. They lived in tipis. They made there homes out of wool, feathers, and long sticks.

7 How did they dress People today Today people get there close from department stores and other stores. We don’t make are close seamstress’s do. Mostly machines make are clothing. The Ute Indians They made all there clothing. There clothing is made out of wool feathers. They also used tall grass. They made shoes out of wool and wood. When the wanted it died they had to find colored berries and mashed them into paint. Then they put there wool in the bowl and it colored it.

9 contributions They where some of the first people to ride horses. They past riding horses to our times. They gave use our name Utah cause they where the Ute tribe. Wasatch is the Ute Indian language.

10 How big is the tribe They lived in small family groups. After they got horses the groups became larger and they hade more visitors more visitors. The groups had became lots bigger and had more people in the family.

11 Extra info The Northern Ute bands, along with Utes from Colorado, were forced to move to a reservation in the Uintah Basin. There they felt confined and unhappy and could not easily adjust to a life of farming, as the whites thought they should.
