16. 16 RPI-Schenectady Strategies to Prepare students  Measureup.com or Testout.com are ideal for students to practice for the A+ exams both in and out of school.  Use the 2 included A+ practice exams in the IT Essentials 5.0 assignments section. Have students create study guides based on their individual feedback from the practice tests to help them determine where they should focus.  Use CompTIA A+ certified books that include CDs with practice exams to help expose students to a variety of potential test questions.  Choose a few problems as a daily “Do Now” in the beginning of class.  Make learning fun by giving students white boards with dry erase markers and go through practice tests on a projector where students get points for each correct answer and lose points for incorrect answers.
