3. Aim To introduce students to equipment known collectively as ‘Small Gear’.

4. Learning Outcomes At the end of the session students will be able to: Identify the applicable legislation Recognise various types of small gear Recognise tools used for forcing entry Understand the health and safety considerations.

6. Two categories of small gear General purpose tools - Multiple uses Special purpose tools - Specific function.
