Sanitary Supplies products and components to compa-nies with high hygienic demands in the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and home care industries. By using Alfa Laval pumps Arla Foods' mozzarella production facility in Denmark has increased its output with 25 percent while using just 2 percent more energy.

Industrial equipment Supplies heat ex-changers for indoor climate control and for industrial cooling and refrigeration. Dutch orchid cultivator Handelskwekerij van der Weijden has a revolutionary climate control system. The system is based on air heat exchangers from Alfa Laval.

OEM Supplies components to manufacturers of air conditioning systems, air dryers and gas boilers which are integrated into customers’ end-products. Alfa Laval brazed heat exchangers are helping households in Japan to reduce their CO2 footprint and cut energy costs. Water can be heated to 90 degrees Celsius, with an energy saving around 65 percent compared with conventional electric water heaters.

Marine & Diesel Supplies equipment and services to shipbuilders, ship owners and diesel engine manufacturers. European shipping company DFDS has found an effective tool to meet coming international regulations for exhaust gas emissions at sea. The solution is an Alfa Laval Aalborg scrubber system – PureSOx. 1

Process Industry Supplies complete range of equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, paper, sugar and starch industries. The Falconara refinery in Italy replaced an air cooler with two Alfa Laval Compabloc heat exchangers, and cut its yearly costs by EUR 3 million, and also reduced its environmental footprint.

Energy & Environment Supplies products and systems for oil and gas extraction and energy production in power plants – as well as products and solutions for waste water treatment. Shell is building the world’s first floating liquefied natural gas plant. When completed it will be located off the coast of Australia and allow natural gas to be harvested and processed directly on site. Alfa Laval technology is part of the project.

Food Technology Supplies processing solutions to the dairy, beverages, food, brewery, fish, meat and vegetable oil industries. Jain Irrigation Systems, India’s largest processor of fruits and vegetables, is equipped with the latest evaporators and decanters from Alfa Laval.
