2. Association of Regional Initiatives Development „Lacjum” is an association working on the vocational education field. Our main goal is to develop and promote enterprise through lifelong learning. We are working for people who lives in rural areas like farmers, RDAs, inhabitants of rural areas and teachers of agricultural schools. 3. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" The aim of the Association is promoting development of regions, including in particular: 1. Shaping attitudes open to knowledge and innovation. 2. The dissemination of modern information technology. 3. Facilitating the flow of information about the latest developments in science and technology applicable to adults in continuing education. 4. Sustaining awareness of their cultural heritage and learn from it for contemporary solutions. 5. Supporting local initiatives in line with the objectives of the Association. 6. Creating favorable conditions for overcoming the geographical boundaries, administrative and generational. 7. Facilitate the establishment of partnership relations. 8. 4. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" ARID Lacjum is young organization but their members are pretty experienced. The members of our association took a part in different projects. The first international project, in which ARID took part, it was Leonardo da Vinci project - „Beekeeping European Environmental Sustainability”. The project has finished in October 2012. 5. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" We participated also in international project of Leonardo da Vinci project - „Contribution to the SOCIAL COMPETENCE development at work in the AGRIculture sector. Health at SAFETY at work”. The project was devoted for improving safety during work on the farms. There were 4 countries involved and the project finished at the end of September 2013. 6. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" ARID Lacjum participated also in international project of Grundtvig project - „CLAP – Convicts Libery Aid Project”. 7. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" ARID Lacjum participate also in international project of Leonardo da Vinci project - „FISHFARM - Qualification of Vocational Education and Skill Training for Aquaculture Sector in Europe” The project was devoted for improving skills and knowledge of the fish farmers in Europe. 8. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" Our members took part also in various e-learning projects, mainly for Rural Development Agents and farmers. They also were a lecturer during professional trainings for farmers and RDAs. We have also experience in other European Founds for example Human Capital Programme. 9. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" Our association led also professionl tranings for Local Activity Groups. We show for LAG how to take various founds for their activities and also how to help individual farmers and inhabitants of rural areas to reach money from stuctural founds. 10. Association of Regional Initiatives Development "Lacjum" Our association seat is in Kraków. Kraków it is previous capital city of Poland. The city is over 1000 years old. The main attractiveness in the city are the Wawel Castle, royal road and the main square.
