Two problems My problem o Keeping documentation up to date Licences Specifications Quotations 2

8/9/2015Footer Text3 First of my problem… Like most businesses we have lots of documentation. And often that documentation is sent out to clients or other third parties. The problem is that once the document leaves our control, we have no way of ensuring that the client or end user is referring to the latest or up to date copy. Clients license software from us, but as we go through the negotiation process, those documents can go through a number of iterations. How do you ensure that the client is using a valid version? Version numbers can help, but the client doesn’t know that whether the version they’re looking at is the latest. Similarly for specifications and quotations and with quotations hanging around you can be giving a hostage to fortune... The solution? -

Solution 4 Use a suitable QR management system for document management. Embed a QR code in the document, and with the QR Management system, set up a small web-page that contains the version/validation history. Use a suitable QR management system for document management. 5 Solution 5 The user here has scanned the QR Code with their mobile phone (or could be a tablet, iPad etc), and is immediately able to see the current status of the document.

Updating WYSIWYG editor… 6 Updating the information is simply a matter of using the QYSIWYG editor (uniquely available from QR Tag Insights), just as you would edit a Word document.

Second problem My Client’s problem o His clients were asking for QR codes o My client wanted to be able to provide QR solutions to his clients o He didn’t know where to find a solution that he could re-sell 7 Our second problem is an issue that one or our clients brought to us. Using our QR Management system (QR Tag Insights) enables our client to set up separate accounts for each of his clients. Our second problem is an issue that one or our clients brought to us. 8 Solution Using our hosted, QR Code management system 8 Our client was able to set up separate groups for each of his clients. See the treenodes under ‘Clients’. If he wishes to he can also set up user accounts within them so that the client can manage their own QR codes. Our client was able to set up separate groups for each of his clients. 9 Reports 9 Reporting on QR useage is available both to our client, and at their own level to his clients too. Graph type reports show frequency of hits/scans on a date basis.
