3. 3 Purpose of the Forum To inform you of the services and support that we are able to deliver; To inform you of the programmes and support that you can get from Hanban; To know what kind of support /service you require; To set up a school network for future collaboration

6. Taster sessions China Overview Mandarin taster 20 minutes Length of session flexible Contents adaptable to suit different age groups

Cultural Workshops Calligraphy Tai Chi Story telling Folk dance & songs (Fan Dance, Ribbon Dance, Waist-drum Dance, Lion Dance) Traditional handicraft (paper-cutting, pottery, plate-painting, knot- knitting, Peking Opera face-painting ) Chinese school PE activities (School Morning Exercise, Rubber-band skipping, Shuttlecock kicking, Eye Massage) Food (dumplings, spring rolls) For both primary & secondary schools Flexible in format & organization

8. China Day Day event (4 – 6 hours) to experience Chinese language and culture Flexible in format ( to be decided by schools, with language tasters and/or cultural workshops) Can be organized alongside with school events, such as Languages Day, International Culture Day …etc.
