6. Objectives To instruct students on modern graphics and modeling fundamentals for engineering design. Some things you will learn: freehand sketching drafting techniques geometric modeling visualization methods computer-aided drafting and design data reporting ME 302 students will complete a team project introducing the modern engineering design graphics process using 3D rapid prototype modeling.

Grading Policy POINT SYSTEM 20 points each for manual graphics sheet and 60 points per CAD Lab 150 points for each of 3 quizzes 150 points for CADD Lab #9 (ME 210) 450 points for final exam 1000 points for ME 302 Lecture portion GRADES A = at least 90% of total points B = at least 80% of total points C = at least 70% of total points D = at least 60% of total points F = less than 60% of total points PENALTIES 1% of total grade for each un-excused absence 20% loss of points for assignments one period late and un-excused 100% loss of points for assignments more than one period late and un-excused
