Education is KEY!!!! This is EASY, there’s a natural connection between children and animals!! Have a “Be Kind to Animals Week” in your school!!! Invite a representative to speak from the spay/neuter clinic. Invite a K-9 unit to come in and show working dogs. Invite your local shelter to send a representative to talk with older grades about laws and the importance of spay/neuter Hold a free shot clinic at your school for low income families. Raise money to provide families with low income the cost of a spay or neuter. Have a pet food drive at your school. Sponsor a pet at the shelter. Invite those who provide pet services to come in and speak about their careers.
Adopt One Until There Are NONE! *Visit your local shelter and adopt a homeless animal!! *Volunteer to FOSTER an animal until a permanent home is found. Springdale, Fayetteville, and Rogers do this.
