DAY 2: PARIS  Meet your Prométour Tour Director at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.  Transfer to your centrally located Paris hotel for check-in.  While in Paris travel as the locals do, by foot and metro!  Later, stroll about the Trocadéro and visit its breathtaking gardens.  In the evening, join Mme Leclair and discover the City of Lights together.  Take a stroll along the Champs-Elysées.  See the Arc de Triomphe & visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  Have dinner with your Prométour Tour Director. Admire its extensive collections of paintings, sculptures, architecture, and literature drawn from the 19th and 20th centuries.  Enter the beautiful Opera Garnier best known as the backdrop for Gaston Leroux's famous Gothic novel -The Phantom of the Opera, and all of its incarnations.  Explore the Opera Quarter, home to Galleries Lafayette and the Place Vendome.  See the Sacré-Coeur Basilica located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city.  Have dinner with your group in the area. Stroll through the Cours Mirabeau and see its beautiful rotunda.
