3. 3 H&S Update 2005 BLS injury rates released in December 2004 –Utilize NAICS codes for 1 st time 334412 for “Bare printed circuit board manufacturing” 334418 for “Printed circuit assembly (electronic assembly) mfg –TRCIR up from 3.1 to 4.1 –LWDACR up from 0.8 to 1.4 –RWDCR same at 0.9 –LWDCR up from 1.7 to 2.3 No EMS rate (fewer than 15 cases) but 2.6

4. 4 H&S Update 2005 BLS TRCIR injury rates for 2003 – by size – 11-49 = 6.8 – 50-249 = 3.6 –250-999 = 3.9 –> 999 = 2.2 –Overall = 4.1 Many industries and industry overall shows highest rate for 50-249 size establishements.
