2 This detailed, thoroughly explained lesson will show you how to create very attractive roentgen photo effect. You can use this effect for any modern flash banner, header, any photo presentation and animation...

3 To create this lesson, you don't have to use action script code. This lesson is so easy for create, but in the same time very attractive and useful. Let's go!

4 Step 1  First of all, save a two photos below!

7 Step 2  Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 353 pixels and the height to 473 pixels.

8 Select white as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 20 and click ok.

10 Step 3  Choose now File > Import > Import to Library. In the file explorer window that appears, find a two photos (photo1 and photo2 - that you just save in first step) and Shift-click to select them.

11 . Then click open. If you now open your flash library (Ctrl+L key), you will see a two photos that you just imported. See the picture below.

13 Step 4  Take now the Selection Tool (V) and double click on layer 1 to rename its name into a photo1.

14 Step 5  After that, using the drag and drop technique, move the first photo (photo1) from the Library on the stage.

15 Step 6  While the photo 1 is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

16 1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on, 2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and 3. Click the Align vertical center button.

18 Step 7  While the photo 1 is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this photo into a Movie Clip Symbol.

20 Step 8  Click now on frame 3,6,8 and 15 and press F6 key.

21 Step 9  Go back now on frame 3. After that, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the photo to select it.

22 After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage.

23 On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Advanced on it, click on Settings button, set the following options and click ok.

24 Repeat this process also for frame 8!

25 Step 10  Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 3, frame 3 and 6, frame 6 and 8 and frame 8 and 15 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

27 Step 11  Double-click now on the movie clip (photo 1) on stage with the Selection tool(V).You should now be inside the Movie Clip.

29 Step 12  While the photo is still selected, press again F8 key (COnvert to Symbol) to convert this photo 1 into a Graphic Symbol.

31 Step 13  Click now on frame 200 and press F5 key.

32 Step 14  Take now the Selection Tool (V) and double click on layer 1 to rename its name into a photo 1. After that, create a new layer above the layer photo 1 and name it photo 2.

33 Step 15  After that, select frame 50 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 50 of layer photo 2, using the drag and drop technique, move the second photo from the library on the stage.

34 Step 16  While the photo 2 is still selected, aligned it with the background like we have done for the first photo in step 6.

35 Step 17  After that, while the photo is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this photo into a Graphic Symbol.

37 Step 18  Click now on frame 75, 170 and 200 and press F6 key.

38 Step 19  While you're still on frame 200, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the photo to select it. Afte that, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the text to select it.

39 Then, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Alpha in it and put it down to 0%.

40 Do this also for frame 50.

41 Step 20  Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 50 and 75 and frame 170 and 200 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

43 Step 21  Go back now on the main stage (Scene 1).

45 Step 22  Click now on frame 200 and press F5 key.

46 That's it! Test your movie and enjoy!
