14  Students will learn how to use media in the Creative Commons & give credit where credit is due.  Students will mix sound and/or add a voiceover.  Students will enjoy watching & listening to each other’s creations.  Students will have fun creating digital stories!  October Wedding

15  Windows Moviemaker or other video editing program It is helpful to have headphones and one or two headsets with microphones A scanner to scan student photos If you use windows moviemaker you will need a sound editing program such as Audacity Optional: Photoshop or gimp

16  It is helpful to set up a delicious account for your students to access. I set up MHSTigers and I use the password tigerpower1.   All of the websites we use are bookmarked here for students and for you to use!

17  This activity helps students become familiar with the Creative Commons.  Students will use open source websites:  Flickr  Freesound.org  CC Mixter  Blip.tv

18 Digital Story: Idea & Template Two Ideas Story must have a beginning, middle and end Students create a storyboard with pictures and text from 150-200 words Students select pictures from Flickr & they may use their own pictures Students select at least one song & sound effect or create a voice over http://blip.tv/ Michael Moore: Life in Winged shoes
