Revelation 5:11-14 Heavenly Worship of the Lamb/Eschatology Issues2 Mark 5:12…saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” 1. Power = dunamis - “omnipotent power and ability” 2. Riches = ploutos – “all spiritual and physical wealth” 3. Wisdom = sophia “purposeful creation and governance” 4. Might = ischus - “ability to use force to judge or save” 5. Honor = teemey – “highest of value intrinsic to God” 6. Glory = doxa – “weightiness and majesty of God” 7. Blessing = eulogia “source of all favor and happiness”

Pretribulation: Jesus raptures church prior to 70 th week. Posttribulation: Jesus raptures church at end of 70 th week. Midtribulation: Jesus raptures church in middle of 70 th week. Prewrath: Jesus raptures church sometime during last 3 ½ years of Daniel’s 70 th week.

Promised Exemption from God’s wrath: 1 st Thessalonians 5:9-11 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.

Imminence: (1) An event is certain to happen (2) The time is unknown Mark 13:32 “But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” James 5:8 “You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.”
