1 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

People are under construction. Patience isn’t just passive.

20 1 Timothy 1:15-16 “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners — of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.”

21 Patience: Based on Love
1 Thessalonians 5:14-15 “And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.” People are under construction. Patience isn’t just passive. Is a gift and an obligation.

22 Kindness: Valuing Relationship
Meeting the needs of others. “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

Meeting the needs of others. Showing mercy to others. An attitude, action, and commitment.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” John 15:1-2 patience
