4 Project Design Summary 1.Domestic violence ad campaign - To promote constructive public dialogue around the previously taboo topic of domestic violence. 2.Community leader trainings - To improve the facilitation of community meetings, communication, and community outreach. 3.Community meetings - To provide a forum for local community members to engage with local leaders in order to address concerns, debunk myths, raise awareness, and promote grassroot change. 4.Police trainings - To equip police personnel with the adequate tools to address the complexities of domestic violence. Scale and Sustainability Using peer groups to slowly build a network of community leaders to work together to continue education and training. 6 Indicator To achieve at least 30% increase over baseline of targeted individuals who recall at least three key message points from the campaign in identified high-risk neighborhoods in the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria by the end of the first year in the project time frame.
