6 1964 Atlantic States Chiropractic Institute in Brooklyn, NY merges with Columbia Institute of Chiropractic (latter name prevails)

7 1975 CIC purchases 40-acre estate in Old Brookville (Long Island), NY

8 CIC’s Greenvale Out Patient Facility opens

12 1978 Manhattan facilities sold Levittown (Long Island) Clinic opened

13 1979 January: NYCC granted Accredited status by Council on Chiropractic Education October: New York State Regents grants NYCC Absolute Charter

14 1980 Academic Center opened on Old Brookville campus; adjoining Anatomical Center added in 1982

15 Regional Accreditation Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
