WHAT MAKES RADIO 4 SUCCESSFUL? Radio 4 is made successful by knowing how to set out its show schedule so that they get the maximum amount of listeners they can for that show, and that they are part of the desired target audience. By making sure that they place the main news at the beginning of the day when people are waking up and driving to work, and the majority of their soap operas in the evening when people are home from work and maybe listening to the radio while making dinner or reading the news paper this ensures that radio 4 has its maximum amount of listeners therefore making it successful.
