Tempest is a correspondence chapter of Starfleet International (SFI) and has a small membership.  The chapter has been very active in such programs as the Region One Alien Ambassador Corps the Regional Division Chief (RDC) program the Region 1 Summit and even the 1999  International Conference.
The projects that the Tempest gets into now include Overseas Coupon Project, Stampede and Region One Relief Fund. Our membership ranges from California to Virginia while our CO lives in Ohio.

The Shuttle KingFisher NCC-18076/1 is a SFI "Chapter-in-training". Anyone interested in joining or learning about the KingFisher is welcome to join this group. The Shuttle KingFisher is a meeting chapter centered in Hickory, North Carolina, but open to anyone who wants to join.
