2 On a new page: Guide questions for the genetics' disorder research 1.What is the name of the disorder and what is the history behind the disorder? Who discovered it or/and who has done research on the disease? 2.How is the disorder diagnosed? How does a person receive the disorder? Is it sex-linked? Is it a mutation? Deletion, haploid, diploid? Is it due to heredity? 3.You will need to find out all of the signs and symptoms of the given disorder and share these with the class. 4.How is the day of a person that has that genetic condition? 5.What types of treatment there are for the disorder? 6.Include a suggested list of readings and/or Internet sources that may be of person that is reading the article. 7.You are encouraged to share any other information that you feel is relevant that you feel is important for others to know about the genetic disorder.

4 Your part Now with the information that you have you are being asked to research a specific genetic disorder design a one page 8.5” x 11” magazine article/ report / poster to explain it following the guiding questions. You need to be able, as a reporter, to design a magazine article to orient, inform and educate students, parents or persons in general that want to learn about the genetic disorder that you have assign.

5 Final product Your multimedia presentation will go in a class science magazine that your class will design together. After you bring your report/ magazine page to the class during the process of editing and designing the magazine you need to be able to answer any questions to the people that read the magazine on an online forum.
