2 HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2013 Pacific Paddling Symposium – Victoria, BC May 31 – June 2, 2013 Sold out event : hosted over 160 participants including 30 sea kayaking instructors from across Canada and the US Pacific Northwest, 30 volunteers and 100 participants 2014 Pacific Paddling Symposium on May 30–June 1 is already sold out again. 4 HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2013 After a 2 year review process, PC canoeing is now included as an ORCKA training equivalent. All Ontario public school board phys ed teachers follow these guidelines.. Kayaking inclusion is next for 2015. New Liability Insurance Policy of $5 million for instructors when teaching a registered PC course/clinic with added coverage for participants & volunteers.
