HOW DOES IT WORK? 1.A child in need of heart surgery, from a surrounding country, is identified and enrolled into District 7020’s Gift- of-Life Program 2.Medical records are reviewed by BHC Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Physicians for acceptance 3.Rotary Clubs work together to assist the family to obtain travel documents and funds for travel 4.Rotarians in Jamaica raise funds to provide the hospital with $5,000 (US) per child.

4. Rotary Donates $5,000 to the participating Hospital’s Foundation for each child that is cared for - regardless of the cost to the hospital. Cost to the hospital for most pediatric heart surgeries is $12K to $100K
