2 Portuguese Enterprise Europe Network Enterprise Europe Network The largest European network  Start in 2008;  An initiative of the European Commission;  A key instrument of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP);  Made up of 600 partner organizations;  In 48 countries;  Implementation of the “No-wrong-door” principle; … with the mission of helping companies and stakeholders make the most of the business opportunities in the European Union and beyond.

5 Portuguese Enterprise Europe Network Enterprise Europe Network in Portugal Services:  Facilitating SME’s awareness raising and access to European information (i.e. Community legislation, EU programmes and initiatives and promotion of SME’s participation);  Making for SMEs a sounding board for future EU policies through feedback service;  Helping companies to expand to new markets, to find cooperation partners and to exploit the opportunities of the internal market and abroad;  Facilitating technology and knowledge transfer;  Stimulating the capacity of firms to innovate.
