5 Michigan Hospitals: Making Quality Patient Care Their Top Priority Led by the MHA Keystone Center and the MHA Patient Safety Organization, Michigan hospitals collaborate on quality and safety initiatives that have saved thousands of lives in the last decade and recently more than $116 million in one year alone. Through quality improvements, Michigan hospital costs rank 6.5 percent below the national average, saving families and businesses at least $500 million in FY 2012.
