3 2015 Goal: To reverse the trend of obesity (> 95.0 age and gender specific BMI percentile) among children (21.9% in 2008)

8 Kids Can Bike!

9 Healthy Kids Days Program provides fun physical activity, nutrition education, and a healthy snack each month at two Knox County Schools in Healthy Kids Healthy Communities neighborhoods. Children participate in jump roping, yoga, and games led by UTK students in Public Health Nutrition, Exercise Science and by Registered Dietitians and PE teachers. Funded by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Knoxville.
