3  Debate will be Monday March 28th  Debate Topic: Illegal immigrant are a drain on our society and should be removed no matter how long they have been in the U.S.

4  Test will be Tuesday March 29th.  I will give you a review sheet Wednesday  I will have coach class on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

5  What was it like to be a refugee?  What are difficulties refugees faced?  Who are illegal immigrants?  How many are in the United States?  Should we let them stay or make them go?

28 Once driving through Alabama, Excited, and felling good because I had just came from a Jazz concert I see a white man. I notice him looking at me but I do not look back. I know they do not like blacks in this area. He starts to walk toward me. He gets closer and closer until we are face to face. He asks me my name. I say nothing. He says he just came over to tell me that my tire was flat And that I might want change it, I was surprised that he came and talked to me. I was even more surprised that he let me know that my tire was flat. I guess that goes to that there is a sign of change.

31  You will now use the Worksheet I handed out to help you create your own 1920s Art!  This assignment is worth a quiz grade. Please put time and effort into the assignment.

32  Write a story pretending that you were an African-American migrating.  Tell us where you have decided to go and why you are leaving your home.
