WHERE I AM NOW I am currently a junior at Buford High School I have taken biology, chemistry, introduction to healthcare and I am in my second year of healthcare at the moment.

AFTER GRADUATING HS I WILL ATTEND………. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College - School of Nursing and Health Sciences (practical nurse training and associates degree). Emory University - Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing (bachelors and masters degree) This will take 6 years to complete a masters degree

REQUIREMENTS Usually one of three education paths: a bachelor's degree in nursing, an associate’s degree in nursing, or a diploma from an approved nursing program. Registered nurses must also become licensed by passing a national licensing examination. Rn’s earned an average annual salary of $67,720. There were over 2.5 million RNs employed in 2008, and it is predicted that over half a million jobs for Registered Nurses would be added in between 2008 and 2018

WORK AREA RN’s may operate in places such as specialized doctor offices, hospitals, emergency rooms, intensive care units, hospices, nursing homes, the armed forces, geriatric center, psychiatric care facilities, community centers, health care facilities, school districts, colleges, laboratories and research centers
