What is D-Day? D-day is when an operation is to be initiated The most famous is the Normandy landings on five beaches It was initiating western allied forces to liberate the mainland of nazi occupation

What happened? Allies had taken over Northern France Normandy landings were a success The effects were liberating France and pushing into Germany
