2.  The Ten Commandments – a.k.a the decalogue or ten words. Exodus 20:1-7  A list of moral standards to live by, given to Moses by God in Exodus and Deuteronomy.  The exact numbering of the commandments is not certain (Catholics number differently from Protestants and Jews.)

3. Beatitudes – the word beatitude means “blessing” or “promise of true happiness”.  They were given as directions for life in biblical times (like in the book of Proverbs).
