2 IT Cadre 2006 Advantages It shows every major assessment for a school or district on one sheet of paper One can easily compare tests to tests The web shows movement towards 100% success and 0% failure It can be determined if any particular year is best yet, compared to all past years.

3 IT Cadre 2006 Step 1: How to Begin? Identify the information that you wish to compare. For example: Comparing percent of students who scored level 3-5 on FCAT

4 IT Cadre 2006 Step 2: Finding the information To find this data, go to FCAT Inquiry on the Learn Page

5 IT Cadre 2006 Step 3: Collecting Data Go to school summary page: http://is-web/fcat/SchoolSummarySelection.asp Select the school Grade level Year for baseline testing

6 IT Cadre 2006 Step 3: Collecting Data cont. Look at the last column showing percent of students scoring level 3-5.

7 IT Cadre 2006 Step 4: Imputing the Data Open Excel Select the information you would like to be included on the chart. Along with just the data, you should also select your row and column headings so that they will be automatically incorporated into the chart.

18 IT Cadre 2006 Step 6: Changing the Scale On your Radar Chart, click on the x-axis (the line where your scale is located).

19 IT Cadre 2006 Step 6: Changing the Scale Click on scale tab Change maximum scale to 100 Then click OK

20 IT Cadre 2006 Making Changes to a Radar Chart Right click on what you would like to change. You will see a choice for Format… For example, if you right click on the legend, you will see a choice for Format Legend. Choose this Format choice and make any changes necessary.
