5 Learning from others Suggestions: Link with other services you provide Encourage all staff to complete brief advice training and refer to your stop smoking advisor Be flexible with the type of support you offer Link with national campaigns When customers are buying OTC NRT or e cigarettes let them know about the service

6 Remember: Follow up clients between 25-42 days from their quit date You don’t need to see every client to verify they have quit (15% can be non CO verified) Just because the voucher scheme has changed you can still see people for behavioural support for longer You CAN support clients using e-cigarettes

7 Remember: Any new advisor must complete the online training via the NCSCT website Input your claim on Pharmoutcomes but still send in your client data monitoring form If you’re not currently providing smoking cessation, we are taking on new business Please contact us if you have any queries/questions
