3. Brandon thought it was going to be a normal day, but it wasn’t. In fact it was the day his whole life would change. Brandon and his class took a field trip to his city’s power plant to learn how electricity is made. While walking down the hallway the rest of the class didn’t notice a broken wire on the wall except for Brandon. As he passed by it, he got shocked with an extreme amount of radiant energy.

4. The first one to notice his scream was his best friend Arnold. When he turned around, he saw Brandon on the floor. With all his kinetic energy he ran to him to see what was wrong. When he saw that he was unconscious he told Mr. Jim what had happened. As fast as Mr. Jim could he called 911 for help.

5. The ambulance came and picked up Brandon and drove to the hospital. The doctor’s laid Brandon on the bed and checked his heart beat, but nothing happened. So the doctor’s used a defibulator to deliver electrical energy to his body. He didn’t wake up but his heart started beating again. The doctor said he’d be okay but he’d be in a coma.

6. The doctors tell Mr. Jim the news and tells him to call Brandon's parents. Brandon's parents ran to the car but it wouldn't work so they used their mechanical energy and ran to the hospital that was a couple blocks away.

7. Days have passed by and Brandon barely woke up from his coma. The doctors said he will be able to go home tonight. When Brandon and his parents walk to the car, which had just been fixed, Brandon touched it and it all of a sudden turned on while no one was in the car. He had no idea what had just happened but he knew it had something to do with the wire. The shock that electrified him gave him so much potential energy that was stored inside him he could control it.

8. As they were driving home, the sun went down and all he could see was the moon. He was still curious if it was him who turned on the car. They finally got home and Brandon went straight to his room. While in there he tried to turn on his TV without the control (to see if his powers would work) but nothing happened. Then he remembered The law of conservation of energy. (which states energy cant be made nor destroyed)

9. The next morning Brandon wakes up and tries to turn on the TV again. As he pointed to the TV, he felt a shock and it turned on. Then he figured out he needs nuclear energy from the sun to use his powers. His parents told him, it was his choice whether to go to school or not. He chose to go, and put on his coat then went to wait for the bus. While he was standing, he started rubbing his hands together to warm him up. Then his hands started steaming due to thermal energy he’s making.

10. When he got to school he walked to his 1 st period to meet up with Arnold. Then Brandon starts tell Arnold that he has powers. Arnold didn’t believe him so he told Brandon to prove it. Brandon then said “what do you want me to do,” so Arnold took out a calculator and told him to take the chemical energy out of it. After Brandon did what he told him to, Arnold started freaking out.

11. Arnold told Brandon that he should be a super hero. Brandon said “I should be I don’t have a name”. After a couple minutes Arnold said “ how about ‘Static Shock’. ”
