A trait is a distinguishing quality or characteristic Some traits are inherited: Hair color, eye color, height Others develop over time: Likes, attitudes about things, actions Some traits you cannot control – but you can control your personal behavior (positive personality traits) Definition

6 Hemispheric Dominance Test
The brain is divided into two hemispheres, the right and the left. Each side is associated with different characteristics. After taking a short test, you might be able to get an idea whether you are more “right brained” or “left brained” On the worksheet, answer the questions as best as you can. Pick the answer that BEST describes you! Hemispheric Dominance Test

8 On the back of the cartoon, create a word web that describes your personality.
Your name should be in the middle. Branching out from it should be circles that show your various personality traits. You need to include at least 5 From each of those five traits, you need to have 2 separate branches that give an example of how you show that trait. Activity #2

9 Using the pictures, decorate the character so that it accurately describes your personality.
Choose from the following characters: Garfield Spiderman Mr. Incredible’s son Doug Spongebob Mike (from Monsters, INC.) Dora Lizzie Maguire Activity #3

10 During the video and hearing the description of the different personality types, write down the words that best describe you. Once the video has completed, in essay form, list at least 2 real life examples that help to explain your choice.
