The students will listen to a ten minute lecture on state education laws for sports at the high school level, for young men and women. Class will start with a thirty minute lecture covering all state and federal sex laws that protect and guide minors in today’s society. The students will then create a mock court. Each student will have a role in the mock court. Victims, defendants, lawyers, and a jury will be selected. Relevant mock court cases will be introduced by the judge which will be played by the instructor, or an over achiever student.
