13 Sigh… There Are Always Terms and Conditions Before reusing content that you've found, it’s your responsibility to verify that its license is legitimate and check the exact terms of reuse stated in the license. Read the fine print!

14 Most commonly, you may not: Sell, license or distribute the image Create obscene works, use images in a defamatory or derogatory way Use image to promote products/endorsements Use as part of trademark, logo Alter image What You May Not Do

15 Most licenses require that you give credit to the image creator when reusing an image. Some sites may only require visible credit line (hyperlink to the url). Some sites require you to become a member. Remember! Downloading a photo does not transfer the ownership of the image to the downloader and you cannot claim that it is yours. You are still responsible for the legal content of the images including model releases and property releases. These images are provided with free usage rights, it is similar to taking the image yourself, but you can not claim ownership of the image.
