General idea of a couple of check rod system and adjustments
2
Install double nuts to lock the Gap.
Vessel Install double nuts to lock the Gap. Base Hand Tighten Actual rod must be installed parallel to the ground and a length of 18 to 24” with a diameter to be determined by a mechanical engineer. (½” to 1” range.)
3
Orientation This Check rod set up will reduce the tank
movement in both lateral directions. Two opposite corners are usually sufficient to protect a vessel.
4
Simple Motion Stopped Two examples of a simple check rod system. Where the gap between the nuts and plate are .010” top gap at empty and .015” bottom gap. This will stop the movement before it can cause damage. You will want to double nut to prevent the gap setting from changing.

Protecting the Platform Scale
The rail will guide the empty cart onto the scale and absorb the impact of a poor alignment. Your Bumpers Rail supports Rail supports 2-3 inch round pipe Cart Rail supports Rail supports Rails supported off the scale to absorb the cart impact.

Side View To Prevent Scale Impact Shock
Rail suspended above the scale 3-4 inches, or broom head height. Some method of easy removal for cleaning and maintenance Pin Better shaped Bracket “C” shaped bracket, where a bolt or pin could be Inserted to fix the pipe in place. Pipe

Overload Protection Tension Load Points
Allows the vessel enough movement to weight the product, but hits the stops when an overload condition exists. The lower nuts are adjusted to not exceed .020 inch movement. Secured to support Structure Load cell movement stopped by nuts. .020” gap .020” gap LOAD
